Yellow to Yellow/Green
 

 

1.     Complete 25 class hours.

(Attend classes 2-3 times per week to become proficient.)

 

2.     Sponsor an additional new member.

It is tradition in Tae Kwon Do that students reflect their loyalty and commitment by helping the school expand it’s impact on the community, increase its student enrollment, and improve the quality of its students.

 

3.     Recite the Aims to Achieve and the School Pledge and answer questions on their meanings.

 

4.     Submit a list of 5 worthwhile goals. (Tae Kwon Do or Personal)

 

5.     1st Black Stripe

Learn Dan-Gun Hyung and the required Definition

 

6.     2nd Black Stripe

Be able to perform 10 different one step sparring and 2 different take downs.

 

7.     3rd Black Stripe

Prior to the start of your normal class, notify the instructor you wish to test for your 3rd stripe. Your 3rd stripe is overall class participation and effort.

 

8.     Know the full definition sheet in the manual.

 

9.     Read through the entire student manual at least once.

 

10. Personal Physical Training (3 Days per Week)
